About Us

At the end of 2023, Fandangos was thrilled to purchase WrdeUp from WrdeUp Music Festival, the dedicated team that started and ran this fantastic event for 10 years. We were incredibly excited to take over the reins of this key town-wide festival for the people of Highworth and beyond, aiming to build on its strong foundation.

In 2024, we proudly hosted our first WrdeUp Festival and are so grateful for the support we received from the local community and all those who attended. It was an exciting challenge, and we worked hard to deliver much of the event in-house, staying true to our vision of growing the festival into a more self-sustainable and financially secure event.

2025 was another brilliant year for WrdeUp. Building on our debut, we introduced fresh performances and new experiences while keeping the spirit of the festival at its heart. The energy and enthusiasm from everyone involved—performers, volunteers, and the community—made it truly memorable.

Now, as we look ahead to 2026, we’re more inspired than ever to keep raising the bar. Preparations are already underway, and we can’t wait to share what’s next. A huge thank you once again to the original committee, who spent 10 years shaping WrdeUp into the vibrant, beloved event it is today—we’re honored to continue their legacy while adding our own chapter to the story.
